Dr. Haseeb Hashmi earned his Medical Degree from Sind Medical College in Pakistan in 1996. Earlier in his career he was a lecturer in Baqai Medical University in Pakistan where he used to teach Microbiology to medical students. After moving to the United States, Dr. Hashmi was involved in a tele-medicine program at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey from 2001-2002. He has been practicing medicine in the US since 2003 and has extensive clinical and leadership experience in both hospital and post-transitional medicine.
Dr. Hashmi practiced medicine in Maine and Connecticut before moving to Florida in 2016. Today, Dr. Hashmi serves as the Director of Post-Acute Services with Pioneer Medical Group. He and his clinical team provide care to patients both in the skilled nursing setting and long-term hospitals in the greater Tampa area.
Dr. Hashmi became a physician because he enjoys listening to his patients and doing everything in his power to make them feel better as a whole. He believes that conscious listening to patients is a crucial aspect of their healing.
Dr. Hashmi lives in the Tampa area with his beautiful wife and their two sons. He is an avid music enthusiast, enjoys attending concerts, playing the bass, and spending time with his family.
