When I first arrived here, I was still somewhat unsure if I had chosen the right facility. By the third day, those feelings dissipated away! The nurses here are awesome. When I press the call button (by my bed) the nurses usually show up within a minute. It also makes me feel good to know that not only am I assigned a CNA and RN for every shift but any nurse who happens to be walking by – is more than willing to entering into my room and addressing my concerns.

The facility is nice and clean. And I love the fact that the place has cable television, wifi for internet service, and a telephone by the bed. I totally recommend bringing a computer or iPhone – because sometimes when the television becomes boring, I end up watching Netflix on my computer, Facebook, or simply reading the online news from day to day.

The physical therapy and occupational therapy aren’t bad either. The sessions last an hour each day, and the staff really work you out. As far as the food goes, a dietitian does meet with each individual patient – to ascertain their meal preferences. And usually, they give you a choice before the meals are served. For example, for dinner “…would you like the baked chicken or chicken salad meal”

Although I’m only here for 30 days, I can already tell that I am going to miss the staff and nurses immensely, when I leave here!
