At Royal Oak Nursing Center, we pride ourselves in our ability to handle advanced wound care. Not only do we assess each resident upon admission, we also monitor our residents weekly post-admission to avoid and/or treat potential skin impairments as quickly as possible. In addition to the top-notch services we provide at our facility, we have also partnered with local wound specialists in order to provide individualized and aggressive treatment to residents who admit to our facility with advanced wounds or who need post-operative care. We have extensive experience with wound vac therapy, healing of various stages of pressure injuries, halos or other fixed medical equipment, fractures, sutures and of course, all post-surgical care. Our wound care team is constantly analyzing methods and treatments in order to better support our residents and their needs. We also provide education to residents and their caregivers in order to facilitate a supportive environment with the healing process.
